Sea Front Splash is a few foot steps away from Montrose’s spectacular golden beach with amazing high sand dunes.

It’s a modern play area with a freshly painted pavilion that is very well maintained.  I recommend Splash for all age groups as there are lots of different play equipment and fun activities.  I enjoy taking my niece and nephew there because there are always lots for them to do and they are two and six. 

Available in the play area is a sand pit, paddling pool, construction site and mini car track for the younger ones and a golf course with putting, mini assault course behind the play area and a trampoline for the older children.  Bike hire is also available if you fancy a cycle along the sea front looking out over the beautiful view.  Sea Front Splash provides visitors with a cheap fun day out. 

Everything on site is free apart from the toilets which are 20p to use and the ice-cream and family run café.  The ground around the play area is covered in white sand 2 feet deep.  Great for sand castles! 

Splash is a place where adults can come with or without their children.  It’s a relaxing place with benches looking over the magnificent beach and play area.  Dogs are welcome there but only on leads and there is plenty poo bins available.
